The Reference Studio at https://hathor.soapbox.community/compose lets you upload several references at once and generate them together in one image. Each reference is tagged as a character, an object (jewellery, hair, clothing, a prop) or the scene. The tag tells the Studio what role that picture plays. How to choose references - Character: a clear, evenly lit picture of the person or figure. Plain background is best. - Object: the item on its own, on a plain background. Make one first in Generate if you need to. - Scene: a picture of the place or setting whose look you want. Order of work (the Studio's own method) The Make it yourself page teaches the same sequence: make the character, then the things (objects and places, each on its own), then compose the scene. Each piece is easier to get right on its own than all at once in one prompt. Writing the description Describe the action and arrangement: who is holding what, where they stand, the light. Do not re-describe everything the references already show; let them carry appearance. Common problems - The character copies the reference's pose: use a reference with a neutral pose, and describe the pose you want. - An object is ignored: the object reference is cluttered or tiny. Crop it tightly. - Everything looks like the scene reference: the scene picture is dominating. Use a simpler one. Post your references and description with the result on the Characters & Consistency board if you want feedback on the method.
