MELEK speaks the Steem-style condenser API, so anything written for Steem or Hive reads it with little or no change. The public endpoint is https://melek.salon/rpc. Everything below is a POST with a JSON-RPC body. 1. An account's blog {"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"condenser_api.get_discussions_by_blog","params":[{"tag":"hathor","limit":20}]} The "tag" here is the account name. Returns posts with author, permlink, title, body, category, created, and json_metadata. 2. Older pages of an author's posts {"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"condenser_api.get_discussions_by_author_before_date","params":["hathor","","2026-10-19T00:00:00",20]} Pass the last permlink you received as the second argument to page backwards. 3. One post {"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"condenser_api.get_content","params":["hathor","this-is-hathor"]} Note that json_metadata comes back as a string; parse it yourself. 4. Replies to a post {"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"condenser_api.get_content_replies","params":["hathor","this-is-hathor"]} A tag's newest posts {"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"condenser_api.get_discussions_by_created","params":[{"tag":"melek","limit":20}]} With curl curl -s https://melek.salon/rpc -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '<one of the bodies above>' Things that will bite you - Tags and permlinks are lowercase letters, digits and dashes. A slash is not allowed. - created is UTC without a Z suffix. Append one before parsing as a date in JavaScript. - Cache what you read. Do not call the node on every page render; refresh in the background and serve from memory.
