KulaSwap at https://kula.money is the decentralised exchange of the MELEK ecosystem. It runs on the PRANA chain (an EVM chain, chain ID 712217) and is an automated market maker in the constant-product lineage. KULA is the hub asset: pairs are quoted against KULA rather than against every other asset directly. KULA has a hard cap of 11,000,000.
You need an EVM wallet such as MetaMask. Connecting adds the PRANA network for you.
Swap
Trade one token for another against a pool. The price you get depends on the pool's depth: a large trade in a shallow pool moves the price against you. That is slippage, and the swap screen shows it before you confirm.
Pool
Deposit both sides of a pair and you receive LP tokens. Liquidity providers share the 0.30% fee charged on every swap through that pool. The risk to understand first is impermanent loss: if one side's price moves a lot against the other, you end up holding more of the side that fell.
Farm
Stake your LP tokens to earn KULA emissions on top of the swap fees.
Stake
Lock KULA as veKULA for up to four years. veKULA boosts your farm rewards and lets you vote on where emissions go. The longer the lock, the more weight, and the lock cannot be undone early.
Borrow
Lock KULA as collateral and borrow mMELEK. mMELEK is a synthetic note minted by that collateralised position. It is not the same thing as wMELEK, the bridge-backed wrapped MELEK, and the two are deliberately kept apart so the bridge's one-to-one backing stays true.
Principal pairs
KULA/MELEK, and the Hive-Engine assets VKBT and CURE as VKBT/KULA and CURE/KULA.
